'96 Asics Gel Diablo OG comeback!

Ok, Asics didn't have much luck in 2016. But it's also true that it's a history now and the japanese brand keeps confirming that, releasing one ingenious sneaker revival after another. We still remember the GEL-Mai OG which had the warmest of welcome along with a not-that-long-time ago consisting of two interations revival of GEL–Lyte OG. Now japanese designers decided to take on Ronnie Fieg's (a.k.a. Kith) favourite GEL Diablo model.

The whole thing has already been a hot topic since Asics genereal release and design from NY saw the light of the day earlier this year. What we saw electryfied the scene enough, making all fans wait impatiently for what finally took place recently - on 12.08.

Asics Tiger GEL Diablo OG is now back - just the way it looked like in the 1996! With its exaggerated cheeky vibe the "White/Black/Blue" colorway is essentialy 90s. The whole design is undoubtedly consistent and it seems to be thought of as a GEL-Lyte V and GEL-Kayano Trainer cross over. Once again the timeless whiteness became the design's basis as it makes the most of the new GEL Diablo coloristics . The black "tiger brand" details and blue elements on the upper make the design complete and so does the final designer's cut: a distinctive blue tear-shaped GEL logo placed in the middle of the midsole .

Sneakers are all-synthetic when it comes to materials. Back in '96 synthetic mesh and nubuck were a significant improvement, namely a weight reduction and traction increase, and, in effect, influencing the runnder's comfort. Now when it comes to sales - it out NOW and please pay attention: these running sneakers are heavily limited!
