BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB – A CLUB OF WEALTHY YOUNGSTERS?
No, answering the question posed in the title of my today’s post. Billionaire Boys Club is an American-Japanese fashion joint venture undertaken by Pharrell Williams, a famous singer and producer, and NIGO, a Japanese fashion designer and founder of the iconic A Bathing Ape brand. The BBC’s story actually began with a line of skaters shoes – ICE CREAM. This sub-brand was originally a subsidiary of Billionaire Boys Club. One year later, BBC opened its first store in Tokyo, and then the brand expanded to such metropolises as New York City and London. Another milestone was the creation of Billionaire Girls Club. This sister line for women was brought into the market in 2011. In August 2011, Jay-Z, a celebrated rap artist, started collaboration with Billionaire Boys Club – and invested in it later. One of the most popular designs from the Billionaire’s Club is the “Astronaut” graphic which simply depicts an astronaut’s head in a helmet. The BBC style oscillates between the classic Americana style, the military style and the College Style. The first drop of the latest AW 21 collection is now available at SneakerStudio and the PRM boutique in Warsaw.
