Levi’s® Brings Back “Levi’s® for Feet” this Fall/Winter 2022

In September of 1975, Levi’s® officially entered the footwear market thanks to a new collection of shoes and sneakers called “Levi’s® for Feet.” Launching at the time with 12 original models, the collection’s press release described them as “styled for a young, rugged, casual look.” Today, with so much ‘70s and ‘80s influence on contemporary fashion, bringing back a classic‘70s era Levi’s® shoe seemed like a perfect fit (yes, pun intended).
Featuring two of the original twelve styles, this new edition of Levi’s® for Feet sticks to the “young, rugged, and casual look” that made them so popular in the ‘70s, plus adds premium construction and materials for good measure. Based entirely off the original 1975 models from the archives, this season sees the launch the RVN 75 and the RVN 75 Low, with further models launching in the coming seasons.

The RVN 75 (originally called the Raven) was one of the very first Levi’s® for Feet shoes to launch in 1975, so it made sense to return to this stylish and rugged casual shoe for the re- launch. Featuring a moc toe with a mid-ankle and a gum rubber sole, it’s a mix of ‘70s vibe and modern style that fits perfectly in any contemporary wardrobe. And it may just be the perfect shoe to pair with vintage Levi’s® 501®s

Also launching this season is a low-top version of the original Raven called the RVN 75 Low (originally the Raven Low). Both the RVN 75 and the RVN 75 Low are unisex styles and are available in three colors of suede. The incredibly high-quality suede comes from the Steads tannery in Leeds, England, one of the oldest and most prestigious tanneries in the U.K. And as for the tumbled and vegetable tanned leather, those are both from the Horween tannery in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1905, Horween is one of the oldest tanneries in the U.S. and has long been recognized as the source of the world’s best full grain leather.

All shoes in the Levi’s® for Feet collection are assembled in Portugal, which is recognized worldwide for its high-quality shoe production, and each pair will feature a Levi’s® Orange Tab on the outside of the right shoe (to match the Orange Tab on the right pocket of Levi’s Orange Tab jeans). Special packaging includes a Levi’s® for Feet shoe bag and a Levi’s® for Feet orange top box, inside of which is a special tissue paper lining printed with all 12 models of the original 1970s Levi’s® for Feet lineup. Each shoe will also come with as a special tag from either the Horween or the Steads tannery.
