Puma Prevail OGs are back!

90s are undeniably currently hyped in the fashion world. For some (myself included) it's youth all over again; for the generation born in the 90s, on the other hand, it's their very first, fully conscious encounter with an aesthetics of this crazy decade.

Colors EVERYWHERE, plus glamour - in form and details alike - it's the first half of the 90s in a nutshell. In the 90s, also, sneakers triumphed - not only among athletes or celebrities, but also on the streets.

After almost 2 years, the Herzogenaurach brand decided to release a revived version of their runners from the early 90s. Puma Prevail OG - the shoes in question - with their unique silhouette and two colorways available take us back to 1994. The colorway released now is an inexact copy of the original "Royal Purple". Why? This time, instead of literal "revival", the Puma designers used a negative image effect, thus reversing the distribution of colors of the upper and creating a brand new, and yet still old school, colorway - "„Ocean Depts”". White and black therefore dominate, with counterpoint being, respectively, purple (suggested already in the name of the model) in the 1st case, and azure, in the 2nd.

The whole upper resides on a white-and-black sole, additionally cushioned by "Trinomic" system. As for the materials, it's textbook 90s selection - grain leather, synthetic nubuck, mesh and neoprene.

You can get your pair of Puma Prevail OG 'Ocean Depths' here. Better hurry - they're selling like hotcakes.
