Wood Wood - Danish Minimalist Design
The history of Wood Wood brand
The Wood Wood is a Danish fashion brand that combines the world of streetwear, casual and sports into a new quality. It was established in 2002 in Nørrebro, the multicultural district of Copenhagen. The subcultural connotations of Wood Wood provide the perfect balance between fashion and functionality.
The Wood Wood’s collections are characterized by minimalism, a loose cut and, above all, unrivalled quality of fabrics and workmanship. The seasonal W.W. collections are often ahead of the current trends, setting new standards for future seasons.
Since the beginning of the brand's existence, its founders, Karl-Oskar Olsen and Brian SS Jensen, have been responsible for the projects. During the 17-year-long activity on the fashion market, Wood Wood can proudly boast that it has collaborated with almost 50 brands such as well-known adidas, Reebok, Nike, Champion, Barbour, Eastpak or LEGO. And these are only a few examples that confirm the growing expansion of the Danish design.
From the very beginning a basic "Double A" collection was available in the offer of the Danish brand. The characteristic motif of two inverted A letters that create a graphic W logotype is particularly distinctive of the company. Wood Wood has its brick and mortar shops only in two European cities - Copenhagen and Berlin. Unique acronyms in the logotypes and controversial graphics are the name of the game when it comes to this Danish brand. Welcome to the extraordinary world by Wood Wood!
